Robert Lee Drummond, Jr., 78. Died 10/14/11 Huntersville NC. Born 10/10/33 Jackson, MI to Robert Lee and Mela J. Drummond. Bob died at home after a three year battle with bone cancer. During his valiant fight Bob received wonderful support from friends and family; and excellent care from health care professionals in the Veterans Administration and later by Hospice. Bob served in the US Army during the Korean War and won his battle over tuberculosis during that time. He subsequently entered the purchasing field working for four notable companies with several promotions during his career and retired from Rockwell International. Bob was a man of faith having grown up in church playing the piano, a man with a great sense of humor who was always the life of the party. Bob was also a car enthusiast. He is survived by sons Kevin, Mark, Grandchildren Sarah, Andy, Scott, Blake, Paige and Joshua, Brothers John Drummond (Jake) deceased, and Roger Drummond. Nephew Randy Drummond. Nieces Janet Drummond, Lisa Wellinghoff and Lori Rinderer. Great nieces Katie, Nikki, and Ella and great nephew,Benjamin. Also, Bob's great friend Gary Polco.
