Robert “Scot” Crowder of Cornelius, NC passed away on January 17th, 2024 at the age of 52. Scot was born in the Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Virginia on March 10th, 1971. He graduated from ECU with honors and was employed at TIAA.
He is survived by his wife Crystal, his children Liz and Nick, his parents Bob & Cindy Crowder, his sister Kim, his brother-in-law Matt, his niece and nephew Will and Emma Scot, his mother and father-in- law Gene and Brenda Turner. He is also survived by a multitude of friends and many loving family members.A private ceremony will be held for family, and a celebration of life with loved ones is to be determined shortly. A Go Fund Me page is set up to assist with his expenses and any excess funds will be donated in support of cancer research.
Not only was Scot a cancer warrior but also a passionate musician, a skilled photographer, a loyal co-worker, an exquisite chef, an avid cyclist, and someone who embraced the love for adventures & traveling. Scot embodied selflessness and thoughtfulness in all of his actions. He consistently thought of the well-being of others, showing genuine care and concern for those around them.
