Robert Tony Broffman

Robert “Tony” Broffman of Huntersville, NC, passed away Friday, Dec. 10, 2021. He was 74.

Tony was a true follower of Christ and led many to give their hearts to God. He spent his life helping others and made it his mission to guide young people in the right direction. His kindness and generosity changed many lives. He will be greatly missed.  

He was owner of TR Broffman Realty in Charlotte NC.

Tony is survived by his children, Grover Overby (Heather) of Huntersville, NC; Anna Jenkins, of Huntersville, NC; sisters, Phyllis Broffman Wright (Donald Wright) of West Jefferson, NC and “Penny” Jacqueline Sowards (Tony Sowards) of Charlotte NC; grandchildren: Austin Overby, Kayleigh Sevearance, Justin Sevearance Jr. and Ariana Sevearance; and many nieces and nephews who adore him. He was preceded in death by mother, Margie Arnell and father, Joseph Broffman; sisters Helene Broffman and Deborah Broffman Lamotta and brothers Carl Broffman, Timothy Broffman, Thomas Broffman.

Tony’s Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2021 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, 16901 Old Statesville Rd., Huntersville NC.
