Rita Ann Rudd

Rita Ann Rudd, 71, of Iron Station, NC, passed away Monday April 10, 2017. She was born January 4, 1946 in Mitchell, IN to the late Emanuel and Alma Mitchell. Rita worked for AT&T for 20 years in the consumer communications services area. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Jerry Rudd. Rita was a very dear and loving friend, with a servants heart. She was dedicated to Westport Baptist Church in the kitchen and with the shut ins, along with any other need from the church. She will be dearly missed.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 2:30 pm at Westport Baptist Church, Denver, NC. Friends will be received from 2:00 pm until the time of service. Burial will take place in the church cemetery followed by a gathering in the church fellowship hall.
