Richard Taylor

Richard David Taylor, Sr., 77, of Charlotte, NC passed away on May 15, 2021. He was born to the late, Arthur Eugene Taylor and Frances Hinson Taylor on March 26, 1944 in Charlotte, NC.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Brenda Price Taylor; daughter, Shirley Darlene Whiteside of Charlotte; son, Richard David Taylor, Jr. (Pearl)  of Charlotte; son, Robert William Mooney (Janet) of Charlotte; daughter, Wanda Taylor Raymer of Charlotte; brother Tommy Eugene Taylor(Wilma); nine grand children; and fourteen great grandchildren.

Richard loved fishing and working on small engines.

Memorial contributions may be made to Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Richard’s honor.

A visitation will be held Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home located at 16901 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, NC 28078 and Friday, May 21, 2021 from 12:00PM-1:00PM at Northlake Assembly of God located at 2632 Sunset Rd, Charlotte, NC 28216. The funeral will at 1:00PM also at Northlake Assembly of God. Interment will follow the service at Northlake Memorial Gardens.
