Richard Orland Quinby

Richard Orland Quinby, 72, of Charlotte, NC died Monday September 30, 2013 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House, Huntersville, NC. Richard was born June 11, 1941 in Pratt, KS to the late Louis Orland Quinby and Florence Larkin Quinby. Richard served his country in the US Army. He was a member of the University Hills Baptist Church and was a manufacturing engineer for IBM and also a truck driver for Wallace Farm. Richard leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Sharon K. Adams Quinby, brothers; Lloyd (Sharon) Quinby of Rawlins, WY, Dr. James (Carole) Quinby of Denver, CO, Robert (Patty) Quinby of Arvada, CO, sister; Kathy (Alexander) Robertson of Arvada, CO and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Friday October 4, 2013 at 11:30 am at the University Hills Baptist Church, Charlotte, NC. with Pastor Coye Still officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
