Rex A. Armstrong

January 13, 1948 — June 19, 2018

?Rex A. Armstrong of Cornelius, NC passed away on June 19, 2018 after a short illness. Rex is preceded in death by his parents; Walter W. Armstrong, Sr. and Malinda (Hirsch) Armstrong. He is survived by his wife Cheryl and three sisters; Gayle Knip, Linda Ploehn, and Sandy Winter along with one brother; Walter Armstrong. Rex was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving as a Navy Seal. Rex, most recently, was a Project Manager for CTA Builders. He was an avid golfer and loved to spend time on his boat. There will be a private celebration of his life.
