Ralph Stewart Teal

Ralph Stewart Teal, 82, of Concord, NC passed away June 16, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Ralph was born July 12, 1934 in Charlotte to the late Elijah and Ruby Davis Teal.

He was a member of the Northlake Assembly of God Church and enjoyed fishing, home projects and going to car shows. He retired from IBM and later was self-employed as an electrician and enjoyed working in Real Estate.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter; Deborah Hales; brother, Roger Teal; sisters, Jean Stiltner and Pat Hinson; and first wife, Peggy Leopard Teal and his dog “Pepe”.

Ralph is survived by his loving family; wife, Betty BrewerTeal; daughters, Bobbie Hixson (Bruce), Tammy Hartzog (Eddie), Lisa Tallent (Jeff); sons, Ralph Preston Teal, David Michael Teal, Sr. (Judy); grandchildren, Preston, Connie, Tanya, Stephanie, David,Jr., Chasity, Kimberly, Sarah, Jon, Jennifer, Justin and Tiffany; great-grandchildren, Julia, Nathan, Maddy, Molly, Landon, Gage, Kali, Triston, Trinity, Trenton, River, Hayden, Devin, Braden, Olivia, Meckenzie and Bradon: sister, Joann Yandle (Ray); brother, Mack Teal (Margie). 


Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 12:30 pm at Northlake Assembly of God Church, Charlotte, with Rev. Jeremy Faughn and Rev. Lee Russell officiating. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Charlotte.
