Peggy Jo Trexler Funderburk

Mrs. Peggy Jo Trexler Funderburk, 75, of Huntersville, NC died Tuesday March 25, 2014 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House at Southminster. Born December 12, 1938 in Salisbury NC she was a daughter of the late Leo Wilburn Trexler and Anna Inez Turner Trexler. She loved spending time with family and friends and her canine companions, Zoeie and Annie, was an avid Panthers football fan and enjoyed playing bridge with friends at Skybrook and Northstone Country Clubs. Prior to her retirement she was a sales representative for Road-way Express, Inc. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Trinity United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn West Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home Huntersville, NC. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Clayton and Gregory Funderburk; daughter, Kelly Funderburk and Reggie Lowder; granddaughter, Christin Funderburk and sister, Mary Frances Hunt. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny C. Funderburk.
