Paul Paxton Turk, 94, of Huntersville N.C., died April 09, 2011 at home. He was born Jan. 5, 1917, in Carthage Mo., son of the late Elza Edgar and Ella Mae Hodges Turk. He was associated with the Oklahoma Tire and Supply Co. (OTASCO) , where he was a member of the 5 diamond club, and was associated with the General Battery Co. He was a WWII veteran of the Army Air Corps, and a Methodist by faith. He enjoyed sports including golf and pool. Surviving is his wife of 70 years, Vera M. Turk, a daughter Ann T. Greeson of Huntersville N.C., a sister Dorothy Turk Kinney of Lynchburg Va., 3 grand daughters, Susan Greeson Moyd and husband John, Julie Greeson Jost and husband Charles, and Kathy Greeson Westbrook and husband Allen, 6 great grandchildren, Caitlyn, Holly and Jacob Paxton Moyd, Lauren and Matthew Westbrook and Collins Jost. Friends are invited to attend services on Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at 11:00 am, at the Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home and Cremation Services. 16901 Old Statesville Rd., Huntersville NC. Internment in Mt.
