Paul J. Eagle

Paul J. Eagle, DC, 65, of Charlotte, NC passed away peacefully at home on May 9, 2014. Born in Great Lakes, Illinois into a Navy family, Paul quickly made friends with his easy conversation and his athletic prowess. These attributes served him well as his family was stationed all over the US, including Hawaii, moving every two years. Settling in Michigan, he received his Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University in 1971. Paul graduated Cum Laude from the National College of Chiropractic, now National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois in 1984. His chiropractic practice, Eagle Chiropractic Clinic, helped thousands of people live a more vibrant and pain free life. "Doc", as he was known, had a special gift as a Chiropractor and a dedication to his patients and profession. He was available holidays and weekends to his patients who needed him. In semi-retirement, Dr. Eagle joined Chirocarolina in Charlotte. He will be fondly remembered. Paul had a photographic memory and a deep love of nature. Playing golf and fishing were an integral part of his life, and shared many relaxing hours with his sons on the golf course or fishing from the remote areas of Canada to Charleston, to the ponds on the golf course. He kept a fishing pole in his golf bag just in case the fish were biting. Dr. Eagle was a quietly generous man who gave freely and anonymously. Everyone who knew him knew he loved his sons, loved to golf and had heard a fishing story or two. Paul J. Eagle,DC is survived by 2 sons, Matthew D. Eagle of Arlington,VA, Brandon D. Eagle of Toronto, Canada, 2 brothers, Rondol Eagle (Darlynn) of Cornelius and Michael Eagle of Traverse City, Michigan, 1 niece and 1 nephew. Visitation will take place from 6-7pm on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 with a Memorial Service to follow at 7pm at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, 16901 Old Statesville Rd. Huntersville, NC 28078.
