Paul Jackson Caudle, Jr.

Paul Jackson Caudle, Jr., 90, of Charlotte passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023. He was born in Richmond County, NC on February 21, 1933, the son of the late Paul Jackson Caudle, Sr. and Ina Rebecca Capel Caudle. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his siblings, Charles Caudle, Dorothy Dunn, Lillian Champion, and Sara Stogner.

Paul was a longtime member, with over 50 faithful years, at Derita Presbyterian Church, where he served as a Sunday School Teacher, Deacon, and Elder. He served his Country in United States Air Force where he once operated a weather station in Newfoundland. Most of all Paul will be remembered as a solid, steadfast Christian with a servants heart, and a wonderful, husband, father, grandfather, and caregiver.

Paul is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty Jean Love Caudle, who he was dearly devoted to; daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Gary Mitchell, and Nancy and Tim Cooper; and grandchildren, Leah Finch, Chelsea Cooper (Craig), and Jake Cooper (Valerie).    

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023, 2:00 PM, at Derita Presbyterian Church, 2230 W. Sugar Creek Rd, Charlotte, NC 28262. A visitation will be held a half hour prior to the service from 1:30 - 2:00 PM. Interment with Military Honors will be held at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC 28212, immediately following the services.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial donations, in Paul's name, be made to Derita Presbyterian Church, 2230 W. Sugar Creek Rd, Charlotte, NC 28262.
