Patrick Lawrence

Patrick Lawrence, 71, of Concord, NC passed away from a heart attack on September 5, 2016. He was born in Raleigh, NC on January 22, 1945 to the late John Cecil Lawrence and Marjorie Lawrence Stell.

Pat was a graduate of Clemson University and later became CEO of Melatex Inc. He was an avid golfer, served on the Board of Directors for Odell Volunteer Fire & Rescue and The Community Free Clinic in Concord.

Pat is survived by his wife, Jaye B. Lawrence and his beloved Pekingese, Cosette. He is also survived by his sisters, Marion Thomas and Claudia Reid (Lewis).

The family will host a reception to celebrate Pat’s Life from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests memorials may be made to The Community Free Clinic, 528 A Lake Concord Road, Concord, NC 28025.
