Patricia Hinson Westmoreland

Patricia Hinson Westmoreland, 79, of Cornelius, North Carolina passed away April 14, 2021.

She was born in Mooresville, North Carolina on May 26, 1941 to the late Guy Lynn Hinson and Ruby Brown.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Dan Sherrill; her second husband, Sam Westmoreland; and her sister, Lynn Honeycutt.

Pat is survived by her children, David Sherrill (Karen), Bhrett Sherrill, Tori Griffin (Joe), and Tracy Westmoreland; grandchildren, Tucker Sherrill, Cheriss Pisani, Bhrett Sherrill, Lacee Sherrill, Wendy Goudelock (James), Lauren Westmoreland, and Lindsay Westmoreland; great-grandchildren, Lexie Goudelock, Kaden Goudelock, and Olivia Goolsby; sisters, Shirley Bradshaw and Dawn Brown (Dale); as well as many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

Pat was an employee at GMAC for 40 years and was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Cornelius.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.  Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Community Cemetery.  There is a limitation of 100 attendees in place for the service, and attendance at the interment is unlimited.
