Nancy Little

Ms. Nancy Henline Little, 79, of Cornelius passed away Monday, May 7, 2018 at Autumn Care in Cornelius, NC, following a lengthy illness.  

Nancy was born Jan. 9, 1939, in McDowell County to the late Velma and Edgar Henline and graduated from Pleasant Gardens High School in Marion, NC.  She was a member of the Eastern Star.  She was active in the Don Bridger Sunday School Class and a member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church for many years before her failing health. Nancy was an avid bridge player and enjoyed local theater, traveling, watching Nascar and basketball, and spending time with family. 

Ms. Little was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Little, and her brother, Ed Henline Jr.

She is survived by her Daughter- Teresa Castellaw (Dave) of Hickory, Son- Todd Little (Bonnie) of Cornelius, Grandchildren- Durham, Cooper, Morgan, Maggie, Belle, Danielle, and Malena, Sisters- Martha Schronce (Larry) of Hickory, Anne Hux of Atlanta, Becky Littlejohn of Wilmington, Brothers- Carl Henline (Rosalind) of Maiden, Mike Henline (Connie) of Taylorsville, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 P.M., Friday, May 11, 2018 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Cornelius with the Rev. Tony Moreau officiating.  The family will receive friends prior to the service at 3:00.  Burial will be in the church cemetery immediately following the service.  Memorials may be made to the Cemetery Fund of Mt. Zion Church, 19600 Zion Ave. Cornelius, NC 28031.
