Myrtle "Jean" Regans

August 3, 1932 — August 25, 2014

Myrtle "Jean" Regans, 82, of Huntersville, NC passed away Monday August 25, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center-Monroe. A daughter of the late Richard Young Williams and Myrtle Beaver Williams, she was born August 3, 1932 in Mecklenburg County. Mrs. Regans graduated from Long Creek High School and retired from BELK'S Company. She was a member of Lake Norman Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday August 27, 2014 in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Gilead ARP Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Ralph Jack" J. Regans and wife Marcia of Indian Trail, Robert "Bob" Regans of Huntersville and Gordon Regans and wife Wendy of Kings Mountain; sisters, Dot Pender and husband Henry of Huntersville, Kathryn Sperry of Salisbury; sister-in-law, Margaret Vance of Huntersville; grandchildren, Chad Regans and wife, Kristen of Indian Trail, Beth Regans of Monroe, Bobby Lester Regans and wife Sarah of Cornelius, Marie Hitzemann and husband Josh of Lenoir, Erik Regans and wife Emily of Shelby and Ashley Regans of Kings Mountain and great- grandchildren, Aaryn, Caleb and Michael Hitzemann of Lenoir, Jack and Ellie Regans of Indian Trail. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Jackson Regans. Memorials may be made to Lake Norman Baptist Church, 7921 Sam Furr Road, Huntersville, NC 28078.
