Mr. Monty LaShawn Eskridge, 45, died at his home in Davidson, North Carolina on November 19, 2017. He was born in Shelby, North Carolina on March 8, 1972. Mr. Eskridge was a driver for the Charlotte Area Transportation System (ICATS) and a veteran of the United States Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Eskridge, mother Brenda Roseborough, father Leon Strong, brother Shannon Roseborough, sons Yotunji Eskridge, Yomari Eskridge and Xavier Eskridge, daughter Joselyn Eskridge, nephew La Monté Roseborough, and a host of aunts and cousins.
Viewing is on Monday, November 27 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. The burial service will be at 9:00 am on Tuesday, November 28 at the Veterans Cemetery in Salisbury, North Carolina followed by a memorial service at Life Fellowship Church in Cornelius, North Carolina at 12:00 pm.
