Mildred Hager Morrison

Mrs. Mildred Hager Morrison, 85, of Stanley, NC died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born May 15, 1927 in Lincoln County she was a member of Hills Chapel United Methodist Church. She was employed as a nurse at Gaston memorial Hospital, Lincoln County Hospital and Mercy Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Friday December 21, 2012 at Hills Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Martha's Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Ronald Morrison and wife Norma, Theodore Morrison and wife Deborah and Timothy Morrison and wife Lisa; daughter, Sonya Gales and husband Robert Gales;sister,Nancy Alley; eight grandchildren, Andrew, Kara, Christopher, Heather, Brittany, Tristan, Jennifer, Cole and two great grandchildren, Aubrie and Emery. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Tifford Morrison. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 107 N.
