Micheal Vane Daugherty

Michael Vane Daugherty, 46, of Stanley, NC died Wednesday May 18, 2011. Born November 5, 1964 in Texas he was a son of Daniel F. Daugherty and the late Elizabeth Bolton Daugherty. He was service manager at Rush International Trucking Company, enjoyed golfing and hunting and was an avid sports fan. A Memorial Service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2011 in the Family Life Center of Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Wade Ogle officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior and following the service at the church. A loving and devoted husband and father, he leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Cathy; children, Lillian, Joseph and Brandon; father, Daniel Daugherty and wife Angie; brothers, Shannon, Shawn and Ian Daugherty. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Children of Mike Daugherty, 2302 Clemson Lane, Stanley NC 28164.
