Michael Allen Zeigler

Michael "Lil Mike" Allen Zeigler, 23, of Huntersville, NC died Wednesday October 3, 2012 at home surrounded by his family and friends after suffering from a life-long illness, Dyskertosis. Born April 8, 1989 in Charlotte, he was the son of David Eugene Zeigler and Sherry Stuart Zeigler. He attended Long Creek Elementary, Bradley Middle School and graduated in 2007 from Hopewell High School. He was an avid basketball player his entire life. A celebration of his life will be conducted 12:00 noon Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Holly Hunter Baptist Church, Mt. Holly-Huntersville Road, Charlotte, NC. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Sherry Zeigler and fiancée, Clinton Deal of Huntersville; father, David Zeigler and wife, Kewana of Delbarton WV; brothers, Johnathon Zeigler and wife Margie, their son, Alex of Delbarton, WV, David "Ryan" Zeigler of Huntersville, Harley Zeigler of Delbarton, WV and Austin of Huntersville; step-brothers, Garrick Varney of Gastonia, Bobby Zeigler of Delbarton, WV; paternal grandmother, Betty Zeigler of Huntersville; aunt, Margie Wheeler; uncle, Larry Wheeler and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Beatrice and Howard Hall; paternal grandfather, Nolan Zeigler and cousin, Chris Blue.
