Michael Andrew Christian, 65, of Huntersville, NC passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 30, 2022.

Michael was born in Okinawa on October 8, 1956 to the late WIllis "Hap" and Sarah Christian.

He is survived by daughters, Kerri Walsh and Heather Christian; his grandchildren: Dyllon Johns, Hailey Griffin, and Zi’yanna Christian; stepsons, Eric Marshall and Matthew McCullough; five brothers: Walter Christian, John Christian, Peter Christian, Robert Christian, and Thomas Christian; and his chosen life partner, Neva Lee.

Mike was a gentle giant who never met a stranger. He was always willing to give to anyone in need. He enjoyed traveling and nature. He was always growing something, constantly inspired by the world around him. He loved keeping in touch with his family through his weekly phone calls, and he always supported those he loved in many ways. Mike lived simply, and he loved deeply.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
