Michael Ralph Boyd

Michael Boyd, 51, of Concord, NC passed away on June 17, 2021.

Michael was born in Syracuse, NY on April 12, 1970 to Ralph Boyd and the late Patricia Boyd .

He is survived by his father, Ralph Boyd; his wife, Sandy Bravo-Boyd; his son, Jack Edward; his sister, Amy Stinson and his brother-in-law, Allan Stinson; survived by loving members of the Mascle and Boyd families; his mother-in-law, Florencia Bravo; brother-in-law, Jean-Pierre Bravo; his sister in law, Paola Morales-Bravo and Omar, Justin and Madison Grace Bravo.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 5:00-7:00pm at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC.

A Funeral /Memorial Service will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church, 14740 Stumptown Road, Huntersville, NC on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 11:00am.

Memorial Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (in loving memory of Michael’s mother, Patricia and his father -in-law, Hernando)

Michael was a devoted, loving, supportive husband and a caring, wonderful father. Michael was a decent, gentle, kind, generous and hard-working man. He loved his family, his friends and this beautiful country. Michael was a true fan of the Syracuse Orange and of the New York Yankees. He enjoyed ESPN, March Madness and big game nights. He watched baseball, basketball, football, lacrosse, golf and tennis. But he was always Jack’s biggest fan.

Michael loved spending time with his family at home- relaxing, cooking or grilling and spending time at the beach.

Michael loved music from rock to R&B; loved watching movies (from “Star Wars” to “Caddyshack”) and loved spending time having fun with all of his great friends.

Michael was married to his wife, Sandy for 20 years. Mike made a difference in many lives. He served clients at TIAA for 29 years with great character, integrity, and principles.

Michael will be deeply missed by his wife, his son and his friends and family.
