Mercedita P. Eubank, 79, of Charlotte, NC passed away on July 18, 2019. She was born in Banaue Mountain Province, Philippines on August 29, 1939 to the late Toribia Escalona and Bernardo Pebenito.

Mercedita was a Navy Federal Employee. She loved to sing in the choir, and loved to volunteer in church activities. She liked watching action movies, loved to go bowling, and enjoyed going out with her friends.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Don Eubank.

She is survived by her children, Virna Cidro, Zaida Yokoyama, Leila Sornet, Leomer Cidro, Morning Star Guitteres and Virginia Duncan; Grandchildren, Akira, Kannah, Nahum, Powell, Savier, Rejie, Charmie, Ellena, Joshua, Teresa, Isabel, Katelyn, Reimer, Giane, Gianel, Michael, Miscelhle, Sarah, Daniella, Madison and Preston; great-grandchildren, Nagi, Miyabi, and Gianella.

She is also survived by her sisters, Annie Viernes, Nellie Reyes and Melba Ocubillo.

A visitation will be held from 12:30 – 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC.

A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home.
