Melanie Lee Mullin

Melanie Lee Mullin, 34, of Huntersville, NC passed away Monday November 18, 2013. Melanie was born December 18, 1978 in Denver, CO to Robert and Doris Gulmatico. She grew up in Las Vegas and moved to Huntersville in 2007. She was a registered nurse at Novant Health Charlotte. She loved to play the piano and the ukulele and was a certified Elton John fanatic. Melanie founded the Team (KCA) Kick Cancer Ass non-profit organization; as a perpetual optimist, she inspired everyone around her. Her most cherished time was spent with her family that she loved so much. Melanie was preceded in death by her grandfather Ramon Gulmatico, Jr. Along with her parents, she leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband Mike Mullin; sister, Christy Gulmatico; grandparents, Shirley and Lyle Giegling; niece, Riyann Thomas, many extended family members and dog Harley. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday November 23, 2013 in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC.
