Max Smith Knox

Max Smith Knox, 82, of Stanley, NC passed away on February 3, 2016 at his home. Max was born on June 30, 1933 in Huntersville, NC to the late Robert Brice Knox and Annie Love Smith Knox.  He was an Army Veteran and also a member of Unity Presbyterian Church.

Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Ann Knox.

Max is survived by his loving wife, Joan Cashion Knox; son, Jeff Knox and his wife Sandy; daughter, Leah Murdoch and her husband Danny; grandchildren, Graham and Max Murdoch.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Unity Presbyterian Church, Denver, NC. Burial will take place prior to the service at 10:30 AM at Unity Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
