?Mary Lou Gensinger, 96, of Cornelius, NC, passed away on Friday, November 2nd, 2018 at Olde Knox Commons.
?She was born October 20th, 1922 in Paterson, NJ, to the late Margaret Louise Campbell Smith and Victor Smith. In addition to her parents, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Frederick Gensinger; her sister, Victorine Smith; and her brother, William Smith.
?Mary Lou is survived by her daughters, Barbara Reddish and husband Warren of Lake Shawnee, NJ, and Vicky Vandenberghe of Cornelius; and son, Edward Gensinger and wife Dianne of Mineral, Virginia.
?She enjoyed spending time at the lake, reading, and playing games, but enjoyed time with her family most of all. Mary Lou served as past president of multiple PTA's in NJ and was also an officer for a senior citizen's group in New Jersey.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-4:30PM, Saturday, November 3rd, 2018 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Huntersville. Funeral services will be held at 4:30PM, Saturday, November 3rd, 2018, also at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mary Lou's memory to Hospice of Lake Norman, 705 Griffith St., Suite 203, Davidson, NC 28031.
