Mary Frances Fultz McDowell

Mary Frances McDowell Frances McDowell, age 81, of Charlotte, NC, died September 8, 2014 as the result of a stroke. She was born in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late Carl J. and Sarah Sager Fultz. She was retired from Eastern Airlines where she worked in Reservations. She loved volunteering at the Tyvola Senior Center, the Morrison Regional Library, and St. Vincent DePaul Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry "Bill" McDowell, and her brother, Carl Fultz, and sisters, Ruth Bisig and Wally Distler. She is survived by daughters, Karon Craven (Robert) and Anna Watson (Anthony) and sons, Michael McDowell (Suellen), Steven McDowell (Susan), Gary McDowell (Missy), and Robert McDowell (Rita) and lots of loving grandchildren. She is survived by two brothers, John and Jim Fultz, of Louisville, KY. A private memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. McDowell will be held by the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Lake Norman.
