Mary Elizebeth Ervin

Mary Elizebeth "Mawmaw" Ervin, 73, of Charlotte, NC passed away Tuesday February 11, 2014. Mawmaw was born June 26, 1940 in Charlotte, NC to the late Bill and Mary Rich Amberson. Mawmaw loved spending time with family and attending church every week. She loved cooking and baking. Mawmaw was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Randy Ervin and her grandson Lil Randy. Mawmaw is survived by her loving sons: Ray Ervin, Joe and wife Cindy Ervin, Jerry and wife Tammy Ervin, grandchildren: Joanna, Ashley, Jennifer, Jerry, Jr., nine great grandchildren , sisters: Joyce Walker, Alice Lagasse, Ellen Deese and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Sunday February 16, 2014 at 12:00 noon at the Cedars of Lebanon Baptist Church 10010 Idlewild Rd. Matthews, NC 28105, with Rev. James Greer officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at the Ritch Family Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Mawmaw's memory to : Mary E.
