Mary Anna Bode

Mary Anna Bode, 88, died peacefully at The Pines of Davidson on August 9, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Katharine Bode and sister of the late Dana Bode. She is survived by her sister Miriam Bode of Davidson, NC and brother Fred Bode of Richmond, VA, and many other beloved family and friends. She worked under the Presbyterian Board of Missions in the Sudan, Egypt, Iran and again in Egypt before retiring in 1987. She continued to volunteer in the United States for 2 years after retiring. A memorial service will be held at the Davidson College Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, August 14th at 2:00, with a reception to follow at The Pines at 4:00.
