Mary Ann Spratt Poling

Mary Ann Spratt Poling, 82, of Cornelius, NC passed away January 23, 2017. Mary Ann was born June 4, 1934 in Geneva, NY to the late Joseph and Jane Hoey Spratt. She was a bookkeeper in the accounting department at the Shaw Air Force Base Exchange. Mary Ann loved her Catholic faith and made sure her family did also. She enjoyed reading, good food, sitting in the sun at the beach, watching football and NASCAR racing. Mary Ann was a strong hearted women who loved her family and everyone knew her as Grandma. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Poling, and brother, William Spratt.

Mary Ann is survived by her daughters, Sandra Anne Poling of Huntersville, Melissa Poling Donahue (Patrick) of Cornelius; grandchildren, Alison Poling McCabe (Kris), Tyler Poling, Kyle Poling, Jordin Donahue and Blaine Donahue; and great-granddaughter Maryn McCabe.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 11 am at St. Mark Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Manning Cemetery in Manning, SC. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mary Ann Poling, St. Mark Catholic Church, 14740 Stumptown Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078.
