Marjorie Cox Lassiter

Marjorie Cox Lassiter, 86, of Iron Station, NC died December 27, 2014 at the Sherrills Ford Hospice House in Sherrills Ford, N.C. Marjorie was born February 23, 1928 in Kansas, to the late Willard Orval Cox and Velia Ingold Cox. She worked for Wachovia Bank for many years. Marjorie loved the Duke Blue Devils and the Carolina Panthers. She leaves to cherish her memory; son, James Smith and his wife Loren; daughter, Sharon Sanders and her husband Robert; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. Along with her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Lassiter, and sister Delores Dawson. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday December 30, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Richmond County Memorial Park Cemetery, Rockingham, NC.
