Marie Labriola

Marie C. Labriola, 90 of Huntersville, passed into eternal rest on August 5, 2018.

Born March 13, 1928 in Corona, Queens, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Theresa Covino. She was the devoted and loving wife of the late Blaise Frank Labriola, M.D. She leaves children Joseph Labriola and wife Barbara, Blaise Labriola and Yasmin Aga Khan, Lia Labriola, and Gina Gioulis and her husband Antonios Gioulis. She was the sister of the late Isabel Rossi, and leaves her brothers John Covino and his wife Michele, and Joseph Covino and wife Sally. A loving grandmother and great-grandmother, she leaves her cherished grandchildren, Meredith Diamond and her husband Christopher Diamond, Joseph Jr. and his wife Christina Labriola, Jaclyn Labriola, Mallory Snyder and her husband Jonathan Snyder, Marie Gioulis, and Vasiliios Gioulis. She leaves her beautiful five great-grandchildren, Owen Diamond, Blaise Labriola, Addison Diamond, Georgia Rose Labriola, and Aspen Snyder. She also leaves several

much-loved nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held Monday, August 13, 2018, from 3:00–6:00 P.M. at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, followed by a funeral Mass on Tuesday at 10:30 A.M. at St. Mark Catholic Church, 14740 Stumptown Road, Huntersville, NC 28078.
