Marie Chesser

Marie McClure Chesser, 80, of Charlotte, NC passed away on August 26, 2018.

She was born on August 19, 1938 in Mecklenburg County to the late Thomas Jefferson McClure and Addie Idell Hill McClure.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby and Dean McClure; sisters, Bonnie Turner, Ellen Cathey, and Louise Clark.

She is survived by her son, Tim Chesser and his wife, Katherine; daughter, Tina Heatley and her husband, Mark; son, Terry ChesserCrump and  his wife, Shana; granddaughters, Courtney and Abbey; great-granddaughter, Mackenzie and Rebecca; sisters, Catherine McClure, Earlene Talbert; and several nieces and nephews.

Marie was a lifetime member of Trinity United Methodist Church and Avid member of the choir.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Charlotte, NC officiated by Pastor Wade.

The family will receive friends for a visitation from 1:00 pm until the start of the service.

Following the service she will be laid to rest in the Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery.
