Margaret Howell Shaver

Margaret Howell Shaver, 87, of League City TX formerly of Charlotte, NC went to be with the Lord Sunday August 11, 2013 and leaves behind a legacy of faith to her family. Born January 6, 1926 in Charlotte she was a daughter of the late Ercle Ray Howell and Russie Wamsley Howell. She was a retired Postal Clerk with the US Postal Service in Houston, TX. Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the Huntersville Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Huntersville Presbyterian Church. Those left to cherish her memory are son, Billy Joe Shaver, Jr; daughters, Maria Shaver, Sandra Colvin and husband Landon, Linda Shaver; nine grandchildren, Daniel, Christopher, Steven, Kevin, David, Brian, Jeremy, Holly and Angie; four great grandchildren, Daniel, Jaelyn, Sarah and Tyler; sister, Mary Walters and husband, Frank; brother-in-law, John Douglas and numerous extended family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Shaver, brothers, Ercle, Joseph and James Howell, sisters, Vera Stegall and Virginia Douglas.
