Margaret Louise Kemmer

Margaret L. Kemmer, 92, of Davidson, North Carolina, formerly of Union City, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 in North Carolina.

A visitation will be held Friday, April 6, 2018 from 12:30 – 1:30 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.  A graveside service will follow visitation on Friday at 2:00 PM at Riverside Cemetery in Union City with Rev. Fr. Rajian Mathias from Our Lady of Fatima Church officiating.

Margaret was born November 24, 1925 in Granit City, IL to Albert & Elizabeth (Martin) Storie. She married James Kemmer on February 5, 1944, he preceded her in death on May 12, 1971.

Mrs. Kemmer was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker.  She had been a pastry chef for many years and also worked as a hand model. Margaret spent many years in the Union City area where she was an active member of Our Lady of Fatima Church.  She relocated to Colorado and then Florida.  Most recently, she moved to North Carolina to be closer to her family.

Margaret is survived by her daughter Regina Kemmer of Battle Creek, her grandchildren Rick (Jeanine) Kemmer of Middleburg, FL, Marc (Katie) Pisall of Davidson, NC, Krista Pisall of Livonia and 3 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son Mike Kemmer.
