Margaret Jenkins Hopper

Margaret Louise Jenkins Hopper, 87, of Charlotte, NC died Tuesday October 21, 2014 at her residence. Born May 25, 1927 in Richmond County NC she was a daughter of the late John Evander Jenkins and Annie Jane Russell Jenkins. She was retired from Dy-Dee Service and was a retired hairdresser. Graveside Services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday October 24, 2014 at Forest Lawn West Cemetery in Charlotte, NC. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Gary W. Hopper and wife Jeanie of Denver; daughter, Cynthia Sawyer and husband Wayne of Charlotte, NC; brother, J. R. Jenkins of Mill Springs, NC; sisters, Lois Propst of Rutherfordton, NC, Sue Shepherd of Bostic, NC and Ann Lancaster of Conway, AR; granddaughter, Tammy Long; grandsons, Gary Wayne Hopper and Jamie Hopper; great grandson, Jacob Kendrick. In additional to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin B. Hopper and brother John "Jack" Jenkins.
