Margaret Folsom

Margaret Folsom, lovingly known as Margaret Hurst before her marriage, passed away on September 5, 2023. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who left an indelible mark on the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Born on July 24, 1937, Margaret brought joy and kindness wherever she went. Her warm smile and compassionate nature endeared her to all who crossed her path. Margaret's incredible career spanned over half a century as a catering driver for Moody’s Lunch Service. She poured her heart into her work, ensuring that every meal reached its destination with care and efficiency.

Margaret had an adventurous spirit and loved to explore new places. Traveling allowed her to appreciate different cultures and share captivating stories with her loved ones. In quieter moments, she found solace in crocheting beautiful creations and staying active through water aerobics. Margaret's afternoons and evenings were often filled with laughter and friendly competition as she gathered with friends to play Rumicube, Bunco or card games.

Family was of utmost importance to Margaret. She shared a lifetime of love and devotion with her beloved husband, Wayne William Folsom. Together, they wove a tapestry of memories that will forever be cherished by their children: Eddie Liddell, Pamela Parton (Art Munoz), Carla Folsom Scarpaci, Lisa Lakey (Dale), Cindy Folsom, Tina Adams (Dave), and Tim Folsom (Kim).

Margaret's legacy continues through her ten adored grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. 

Margaret will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory bring comfort and fortitude to those who mourn her loss.
