Maggie Riddle Reid

Mrs. Maggie R. Reid, 86, formerly of Cornelius, NC died Sunday June 5, 2011 at the Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC. Born May 30, 1925 in Ashe County NC she was a daughter of the late Ocy and Wiley Riddle. She retired after 40 years as a seamstress with Seymour formerly Magla Products. Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday June 8 at Mt. Zion Community Cemetery with Dr. James Hunt officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Gail Fields and husband Danny of Mooresville, Tommy Reid of China Grove, Billy Reid of Catawba; eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Haywood Bill Reid; daughter, Ann Wilson; son-in-law, Rodney Wilson; two brothers and five sisters.
