Lou Jacobs Harviel

Lou Jacobs Harviel, 87, of Cornelius, North Carolina passed away peacefully on July 2, 2020 at her residence.

She was born December 22, 1932 in Rockingham, North Carolina to the late Kirby J. Jacobs and Helen Stevens Jacobs.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Ted R. Harviel; sisters, Lois Jacobs Harju and Ophelia Jacobs Webb; and brother, Edward Jacobs.

Lou is survived by her daughter, Kelly Harviel Buday and her husband Ernie Buday, as well as her grandchildren, Bennett and Samantha Buday.

Lou was a graduate of the Mooresville High School class of 1951, a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church where she enjoyed serving as President of Circle #4 and was also a member of the Don Bridger Sunday School class.  She was employed by Eastern Airlines for 15 years.
