Linda "Nona" Sue Rorrer

Linda Sue Rorrer, 69, of Huntersville, NC passed away on October 5, 2021. Lovingly known as “Nona”, she was born in West Virginia on September 20, 1952.
She is preceded in death by parents, Lucky and Goldie Thompson; dear friend, Katherine Neely; and brother-in-law, Doug Sweeney.

Nona is survived by her son, Hoyt (Jennifer) Rorrer; daughter, Brandi McAtee; daughter, Kearston (Michael Murphy) Rorrer-Murphy; grandson, Marco Kitts; grandson, Rob Kitts; and granddaughter, Elora; sister, Brenda Sweeney; sister, Betty Thompson; brother, Clarence Thompson; sister, Wanda (Jim) Burggraff; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Nona enjoyed cooking and baking for those she loved, gardening, puppy sitting, and enjoying the company of her family and neighbors. Her fur-friends loved to stop by her gate to visit and grab a treat as they walked by.
