Linda Harris Humphrey

Linda Harris Humphrey of Charlotte, NC, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015 in Charlotte, NC. She was 71 years old. Linda was born on March 4, 1944, in Siler City, NC, to the late Paul and Mallie Harris. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Harris. Linda was an active member of Mecklenburg Community church and loved spending time with her grandkids. She also enjoyed being outside and gardening. She is survived by her daughter; Kendra Marchick (Michael), two sons; Korry and Kerry Humphrey, grandchildren; Nathan, Elliott, Matthew, and Caroline, three brothers and three sisters. A service will be held at Mecklenburg Community Church, 8335 Browne Road, Charlotte, NC 28269, Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends for an hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to Mecklenburg Community Church, 8335 Browne Road, Charlotte, NC 28269, in honor of Linda Humphrey.
