Linda Williams Bustard

Mrs. Linda Williams Sheets Bustard, 74, of Davidson, NC passed away early Tuesday morning July 10, 2012 after a lengthy battle with cancer She leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of 32 years, Jerry Bustard; her 2 children, Cynthia M. Sheets and Richard C. Sheets; 3 step-children, Jeffrey Bustard, Randall Bustard and Melissa Hunt and 4 grandchildren, Randall Bustard, Jr, Lindsey Sheets, Blake Bustard and Sirkka Hunt Linda was born on June 4, 1938 in Buffalo, NY. After graduating from Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, OH she lived briefly in San Francisco, CA, Raleigh, NC and Atlanta, GA before settling in Tampa, FL. Linda began a career with Eastern Airlines in Tampa and stayed on with Eastern as they changed to Piedmont Airlines. After her marriage to Jerry, the couple lived in Charlotte, NC where Linda continued on with Piedmont Airlines under the name of US Air. For the past 14 years, Linda & Jerry have split their time between their homes in Davidson, NC on Lake Norman and Marco Island, FL. In Marco Linda was an active member of PEO Chapter GT in Marco Island. The couple were also active church members at Wesley United Methodist Church in Marco Island and while in Davidson, NC were members of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Cornelius. NC. A celebration of Linda's life will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday July 13 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Cornelius, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 TO 3:00 P.M.
