Ligia Del Rosario Diaz Rivas

Ligia Del Rosario Diaz Rivas, 83, of Concord, NC passed away Friday February 14, 2014. Ligia was born October 5, 1930 in Caracas, Venezuela to the late Baltazar Diaz-Pena and Josefina Polanco. Ligia was a very caring person who loved her family. Ligia is survived by her loving husband Raul Rivas, daughter: Ligia Pearson and her husband Shane of Concord,NC sons: Raul Eduardo Rivas of Concord,NC Angel Gerardo Rivas and his wife Blanca of Miami, FL, Carlos Alfredo Rivas and his wife Erryn of Atlanta, GA, brother: Baltazar Diaz-Pena, grandchildren: Maria Milagros, Raul Alfonso, Angel Eduardo, Blanca Valentina, Gabriella Cristina, Daniel James, Dale Blake, and two great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held for Ligia on Monday February 17, 2014 at 12:00 in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home and Cremation Services The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
