Lester Earl Hines

Lester Earl Hines, 71, of Huntersville, NC died Friday September 26, 2014 at Levine & Dickson Hospice. Born July 30, 1943 in San Diego, CA he was a son of the late Milton Hines and Helen Collins Hines. Mr. Hines retired from the US Navy after 27 years of service. During his military service he was recipitant of the Navy Achievement Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/Three Stars, National Defense Service Medal and numerous accommodations. He enjoyed spending time with his grand pups, Kona and Rusty and was an avid football fan. A service will be conducted in California at a later date. A devoted, loving and supportive Father, he leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Dayna Hines, Sheri Fernandez and Danette Funston; brother, Dennis Hines; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
