Lawrence Jay Niner

Lawrence Jay Niner, 73, of Davidson, North Carolina, passed away August 1, 2019.

He was born March 25, 1946 in Hopwood, Pennsylvania to the late Harold “Dutch” Niner and and Eva Jean Cole Niner.N

Lawrence is survived by his wife, Nancy Niner; daughters, Natalie Jeanne Treichel and husband, Luke, of Charlotte, Jennifer L. Steward and husband, Tim, of Davidson, and Melissa R. Dawson of Chantilly, VA; grandchildren, Madison Jeanne Treichel, Morgan Elise Treichel, Joshua Timothy Stewart, Carlee Stanley, and Costa Apostolakis; great-grandson, Jackson Stanley; and sister, Donna K. Coburn of Montana.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, August 5, 2019 at Coddle Creek ARP Church, Mooresville.  Visitation will be held following the service.

Lawrence was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.  He enjoyed singing bass in barber shop quartets, and loved boating, golfing and bowling in his spare time.
