Larry Craig Wigren

Larry Craig Wigren, 63, of Cornelius, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022 at Novant Medical Center, Huntersville. Larry was born on March 17, 1959 in Ludington, Michigan, the son of the late Jerry and Doris Wigren. 

Larry was retired from Cabarrus County Schools and a past member of the Pfafftown Jaycees. During elections, he served as the polling clerk for Cornelius polling locations. Larry was an avid golfer, loved to fish, and spent many years as a member of the Ralph Lambert Senior Softball League. He also enjoyed Cardinal baseball and was a graduate of the University of Missouri, Columbia. Above all, he loved his wife and daughter and cherished the time spent with them.

Larry is survived by his wife, Barbara Wigren; daughter, Sarah Wigren; sisters, Vicki Hoss and Debra Mazur; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

A memorial service will be held Saturday April 9, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Raymer-Kepner funeral home in Huntersville, NC.
