Larry W. Garmon

Larry Wayne Garmon, age 65 of Cornelius, NC passed away on August 20, 2017.

He was born on August 8, 1952 in Mt. Pleasant, NC to the late Clarence and Marie Garmon.

He was a graduate of Mooresville Senior High. He worked for Duke Energy for 43 years. He was recently retired.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Larry is survived by his daughter Annette Garman Ford (Joe); Son, Shawn Avery Garmon (Liza); Grandchildren, Callie Drew and Caden John-Lee; Two brothers; Three sisters and many nieces and nephews.

He was a loving and caring father and grandfather. He loved to spend time with his family, play poker and tell jokes.  He was always helping others and finding ways to make people smile. He was a hardworking, honest man.

We will forever carry him in our hearts.

A service in his honor will be held at 2pm on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Raymer -Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, N.C., with a visitation prior from 1-2pm.
