L. Carl Schlosser

Mr. L. Carl Schlosser, 92, of Cornelius, NC died Friday June 8, 2012 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House. Born January 31, 1920 in Belleville, IL he was a son of the late John and Lena Sauerwein Schlosser. Mr. Schlosser retired in 1980 at the rank of Major from the US Army and was employed with the State of Illinois Hwy Department as a civil engineer until retirement. Visitation will be conducted 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Sunday June 10, 2012 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Carol Fahey of Cornelius; son, Allan Schlosser and wife Susan of Tulsa OK; daughter, Linda Poole and husband John of St Louis, MO; grandchildren, Matthew and Thomas Schlosser, Danny, Justin and Ryan Fahey and Kendra Poole. Also surviving are his sister, Margie James and brother, Loyd Schlosser. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, J. Louise Schlosser, brother, John Schlosser and sister, Aurelia Ruse.
