Kyle Lee

Kyle Hedleigh Lee, 50, of Charlotte, NC died suddenly on March 6, 2015. Kyle was was born September 17, 1964 in Concord, NC to the late Nick and Malinda Coleman Lee. In all respects, Kyle was the quintessential Southern gentleman. He was soft-spoken and poised, even under the most trying of circumstances. His love for Civil War lore, dapper hats, shoes and finely tailored clothing, Concord-Kannapolis baseball games, and reverence for fine storytelling will be remembered by all. He particularly loved to entertain friends with tales of his canoe trips to the Boundary Waters of Minnesota with his buddies, where he saw the Northern lights. Kyle was an accomplished graphic & web artist who worked at the Charlotte Observer and the early days of Creative Loafing. Friends and family will fondly remember his generous spirit and willingness to give advice on computers and cars. Kyle is survived by his beloved wife, Candace Aleta Young-Lee of Charlotte, NC.; brother, Bryan "Moose" Lee (Cindy); sisters, Kelly Lee Cannon (Jeff), Jenifer Talbert(David); nephews, Tyler, Tanner, Stephen, Donovan, Blake; nieces, Ceason, Kendal; sister-in-law, Patricia Canada. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Stephen Canada. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home is assisting the family.
