Kyle Robert Garner, 35, of Huntersville, NC passed away on March 27, 2021.
Kyle was born in Charlotte, NC on February 15, 1986 to Ted and Patrice Garner.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother Brett.
Kyle is preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Peggy Garner, and Nancy Leverenz Lowenstein; as well as his cousin, Maddy.
Kyle was an “all in” type of person. Whether it was playing poker, trading crypto, playing golf, learning new things, or spending time with friends and family, he was 100% present in the moment. He had a deep zeal and passion for knowing and understanding as much as he could about how the world works and how the people he cared for the most were doing.
Along with his desire for understanding, he also had a deep longing to be known and understood; a task that was not always easy. However, the more you got to know Kyle, the more you realized how easy it was to love him. Just like an onion, as you peel back the layers, you uncovered a big heart bursting with emotions. His humor, wit and sass were unmatched. It did not matter if it was love, anger, or excitement, he embraced it with full force. He always left an impression and anyone he ever met has a “Kyle story”. One thing we can learn from Kyle about life is to live it unrestrained.
Seneca, one of Kyle’s favorite philosophers, captures it best in this quote: “Sometimes even to live is an act of courage.”
